Your tank should be regularly cleaned, not just for the health of your family and pets, but because it also prevents debris wearing out tap washers and dirty water permeating your plumbing and white goods.

It is possible and we recommend an inspection and clean if required. We will advise you on the right course action if water testing is required.

We only charge for our cleaning and repair service, all quotes conducted over the phone and are free. We can also conduct free inspections when we are in your area.

NSW Health recommends tanks should be examined for sludge at least every 2 to 3 years. However if you have recently purchased a property with a water tank and don’t know its maintenance history, we strongly recommend you get it cleaned prior to moving in.

If you’re able to, you can check your guttering and roof catchments. This should be done every 3 to 4 months. Be wary of overhead power lines, if they are too close, talk to your power company before attempting any maintenance. However if you prefer, we can look after everything for you.

For all other aspects of tank maintenance, we advise calling us. Do-it-yourself tank cleaning can be dangerous if you are unaware of OH&S guidelines.

We have specialised equipment to vacuum the slurry out leaving your water clean. If your tank walls are grimy or covered with mould and algae, we will need to drain your tank and scrub the walls.
